SENATE BILL 2318

Municipal Agriculture Information System – Farmers Information System (MAIS-FARMS) is now at the Senate Level as Senate Bill No. 2318 or the Agriculture Information System Act, sponsored by Senator Sonny Angara.

MAIS / FARMS – Municipal Agriculture Information System / Farmers Agriculture Resource Management System

MAIS Program is now widely implemented in other municipalities. On October 2015, the member LGUs of the ICIA-ED, Inc. adopted the system. These are the municipalities of Bingawan, Badiangan, Calinog, Cabatuan, Lambunao, Janiuay, Maasin, Maasin. Series of orientation seminars and hands on trainings were conducted by the Task Force created for this purpose.
